About Me

Hello! I’m Abdul Latif — a banking professional and technology enthusiast from Sarishabari, Jamalpur, Bangladesh. I built this website to share practical banking knowledge and provide useful tools that make financial planning easier.

I was born in 1986 and completed my education in Bangladesh — starting from Digpaite D.K. High School, then Madhupur Shahid Smrity College, and later graduating in Economics from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka.

In 2012, I joined Agrani Bank PLC as a Senior Officer and began my career in Sylhet. Over the years, I worked in different branches and districts including Sylhet, Jamalpur, and Sherpur. From 2018 to 2025, I served in Sherpur District, and recently I have been posted again to Jamalpur Main Branch. During this journey, I received two promotions and since 2022, I have been working as a Senior Principal Officer.

Alongside banking, I have always loved computers and automation. I enjoy using technology to solve real-life banking problems and make daily tasks more organized, faster, and easier. That interest led me to build many useful offline and online tools that support my regular banking work.

One of my largest projects is MoneyMerchant.net, which I continue to improve regularly. It helps me prepare loan proposals for salary and business clients, keep customer records, and support future references. I have also created many tools using MS Access and web technologies.

Some of the tools available on this website include the COF Calculator, EMI Calculator, Loan Eligibility Calculator, SOA & PL Sorting Report Tool, Agrani Notice and Mail Merge System, National Savings Scheme (NSS) Application Builder, and Customer Application Letter Generator.

This website is my personal initiative to share banking knowledge and provide helpful tools for customers, professionals, and entrepreneurs. If you are planning a loan, preparing financial documents, or learning banking concepts, I hope you will find the calculators and resources here useful.

Outside of work, I enjoy movies (especially Hollywood), music, and digital monitoring. I also have a dream to build an animation studio in the future and explore creative tools like Maya.

Thank you for visiting my website — I truly appreciate your time.

Banking Insights & Practical Financial Guidance

This website is created to support individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with clear financial tools and easy-to-understand banking guidance. Whether you are planning a new loan, managing business credit, or preparing documents for banking compliance, you’ll find helpful resources here.

Why I Built These Banking Tools

In banking, many people struggle to make the right financial decisions simply because they don’t have accurate information. I have worked with loan proposals, credit analysis, and financial advisory for years, and I’ve seen how confusing terms like EMI, interest rate, cost of funds (COF), and repayment structure can be for normal customers. That is why I started building practical banking tools and calculators that provide quick and reliable results.

Most calculators online are either too complex or fail to match the real banking practices used in Bangladesh and similar markets. My goal is simple: make finance easier. Each tool on this website is created based on real-world banking logic and modern development practices. The tools help you understand loan affordability, repayment schedules, and important financial indicators so you can make smarter decisions.

How to Use the EMI Calculator (Loan Instalment Guide)

EMI (Equated Monthly Instalment) is one of the most important things to calculate before taking a loan. An EMI is the fixed monthly amount you pay to the bank, including both the principal and interest portion. Even a small change in interest rate or loan tenor can significantly change your monthly instalment and total interest cost.

Use the EMI Calculator on this website to estimate your monthly instalment accurately. You can input loan amount, interest rate, and tenure to instantly see the expected EMI and repayment structure. This helps you compare different bank loan offers and plan your budget responsibly.

Understanding COF (Cost of Funds) in Banking

COF (Cost of Funds) is a core banking concept used to calculate the real cost for a bank to collect money and provide loans. Banks do not lend money for free — they collect deposits and borrow funds that have a cost. The COF is used to determine whether a bank loan is profitable and whether the loan pricing is appropriate.

For borrowers, COF is indirectly connected to the interest rates offered by banks. If a bank’s cost of funds increases, loan interest rates often rise too. For bankers and finance professionals, a COF Calculator is essential for pricing, financial planning, profitability analysis, and credit structuring.

Banking Advice & Financial Responsibility

Taking loans can be helpful, but it must be done responsibly. Before taking any loan, you should evaluate your repayment capacity, business cash flow, monthly income stability, and total financial obligations. A good loan should strengthen your financial stability, not create pressure.
